  • Georgia families can watch the classic holiday special Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer this season as NBC airs it on Dec. 5 at 8 p.m. in Augusta on channel 26. GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • Today in Augusta, Deputy State Revenue Commissioner Chester Cook said the Department of Revenue is closely watching a plan that lawmakers will propose in January to eliminate the income tax. Current rates are set to drop below 5—fueling ongoing debates over how to replace more than half of the state’s general fund revenue.  WRDW

  • Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield and ApolloMD renewed their longstanding provider contract to ensure Anthem members continue to receive in-network emergency care.
