- ➤ Pinnacle Bank and Morris Bank announced today that they will combine to form a new community bank with $3.8 billion in assets — the merger will include 35 branches across Georgia and offer Morris shareholders a special cash dividend and shares in the new firm. Augusta CEO

- ➤ Augusta's Irish American Heritage Society won an international Anthem Award for its Heritage in Motion program that highlighted its 2025 St. Patrick's Day events and local cultural work in Augusta. - ➤ A Georgia legislative committee proposed new measures to reduce student absenteeism by suspending driving licenses and sports participation for chronically absent students — it also called for a ban on high school cellphones. - ➤ Augusta University’s volleyball team swept Salem University on Friday, Nov. 21 at Flagler Gym with scores of 25–9, 25–20, and 25–10—missing their top middle player in the match.
