- ➤ Community volunteers and people earning service hours cleaned parts of the Augusta Canal on Saturday as part of Operation City Clean Up. City officials said the event will be held monthly—except in December—with plans to work further down the canal in January. WRDW
- ➤ The North Augusta Christmas Tour of Homes returns for its 37th year Dec. 5–6 to raise scholarship funds for North Augusta High School seniors with six stops including five historic homes and the Arts and Heritage Center. - ➤ At Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church in downtown Augusta, members held a fall festival Saturday to raise funds for restoring the historic stained glass windows in the 162-year-old building— the fundraiser exceeded its goal as the community enjoyed music, food and small shopping. WRDW

- ➤ Anime Fest returned to Augusta this Saturday at the Hilton DoubleTree with voice actors, cos-players & a lip sync contest celebrating Japanese anime. Organizers said the recurring event will come back along with other pop culture festivals. WRDW
- ➤ A new mural honoring Black military heroes was unveiled downtown as part of an ongoing effort to celebrate the history of the Golden Blocks—an area with deep local roots. The artwork is set to stand as a lasting tribute to veterans and community pride. The Augusta Chronicle
- ➤ Retired pastor Billy Harrell wrote his second article How Every Christian Ought to Live, warning that misusing God's Name shows disrespect for its sacredness. - ➤ On Saturday, the Sons of the American Revolution held a local event in North Augusta (teaching about the Skunk Brigade and the hats and skins soldiers used to show their factions) as part of the celebration leading to the nation’s 250th birthday. WRDW
- ➤ ADP donated $5,000 to supply new uniforms for students in Columbia County School District’s Job Skills Training Program—ensuring they are ready to look professional at work. The donation will help students gain confidence as they begin their careers. The Augusta Press

- ➤ During a hardhat tour on Friday, Wellstar officials said construction at Columbia County Medical Center was on schedule—steady progress shows that the project is meeting planned deadlines. They added that continued work will prepare the facility to soon serve local patients. The Augusta Press

- ➤ The Jaguars swept USC Aiken on Saturday, November 15 with scores of 25–22, 25–22, 25–18 to secure at least a share of the Peach Belt Conference title and improve their overall record while moving into postseason play—Coach Sharon Quarles noted that a lineup shift and strong team blocks helped power the win and set up their claim to the outright title pending upcoming results.
