- ➤ Governor Brian Kemp and Hyundai Motor Group Metaplant America's CEO Tony Heo opened the Hyundai Mobility Training Center of Georgia today adjacent to the Metaplant in Bryan County—an 89,000–square–foot facility designed to train up to 824 workers at a time. The center, operated by Georgia Quick Start and the Technical College System, will support current and future EV and hybrid production and is expected to create 8,500 jobs by 2031. Augusta CEO

- ➤ Georgia lawmakers are studying why one in five students misses class due to problems like transportation issues — mental health challenges and unstable housing add to the concern.
