- ➤ On Sunday, a man with a head wound was pronounced dead on Fifth Street at Taylor Street in Augusta—Coroner Mark Bowen said his staff scheduled an autopsy to investigate the suspicious death. WRDW
- ➤ Family members and local residents are searching for answers after Melissa Domingo and her mother Elizabeth were murdered in a domestic dispute outside the Best Buy parking lot on Walton Way Extension last Sunday evening—authorities said Melissa's ex-husband, now stable in the hospital, will face charges while a child who witnessed the shooting is receiving support. - ➤ Deputies are searching for missing woman Caitlyn Rouse, last seen Aug. 30 at around 11 p.m. in the 3000 block of Roxbury Court in Augusta—her whereabouts remain unknown. WRDW

- ➤ Augusta Technical College will induct ten outstanding alumni as part of the 2025 Den of Distinction on Friday, October 24 at 5:30 p.m.—the ceremony will take place at the Jack B. - ➤ Augusta University has launched its annual IGIVE employee giving campaign today, inviting staff to support programs such as Open Paws Pantry and scholarships until Oct 31.
