- ➤ In Augusta, Growing Augusta and city officials presented the inaugural Adderson Legacy in Agriculture Award to Loretta and Samuel Adderson on August 19th for their role in founding Adderson’s Historic Black Farm in Keysville — the award will be given each August to honor outstanding work in farming, mentorship, cultural preservation and land stewardship. - ➤ On Saturday, September 27, 2025, the CSRA will host Hope After Helene—a free day of support and celebration marking the one-year anniversary of Hurricane Helene. - ➤ Richmond County Sheriff’s Office arrested 61-year-old Dannie Luke—charged with aggravated assault and possession of a firearm—three months after a shooting at Bon Air Apartments on May 24 that left a man wounded and taken to Wellstar. WRDW
