- ➤ The Richmond County Sheriff's Office is asking the public to help locate 25-year-old Colby Javar Murphy who is wanted for questioning in connection with a rape that happened Friday on the 500 block of Blum Street near the Allen Homes. WRDW
- ➤ A convicted felon, Billy Math Cowart III, is on the run after he violently assaulted his wife on Wheeler Lake Road last week—leaving her injured and prompting police to warn the public to avoid contact as authorities search for him driving a white 2003 Chevrolet Silverado. The Augusta Press

- ➤ Presidential Dinner Theatre will return to Fort Gordon when three veteran performers present 'Tea for Three' at the Eisenhower Conference and Catering Center from Sept. 5-7 after Hurricane Helene damaged the original venue—Friday's performance is already sold out. Augusta Good News
