- ➤ Richmond County deputies ran a prostitution sting on Thursday night and arrested three Augusta women, charging a 57-year-old at Twelfth Street and Laney Walker Blvd— a 29-year-old on the 1000 block of Patriots Way and a 37-year-old on the 2800 block of Washington Road. WRDW

- ➤ CSRA College Night on Sept. 11 from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Augusta Convention Center will offer area high school students the chance to meet recruiters from over 100 colleges and universities and compete for $15,000 in scholarships — admission and parking are free. Augusta CEO
- ➤ SRNS ended its 12-week internship program on July 23 with a showcase event that featured 30 selected interns from more than 4,400 applicants.
