- ➤ A 37-year-old Augusta man was taken into custody after breaking into his estranged partner's home on Old Barton Chapel Road and threatening her with a gun in front of her daughters around 6:21 p.m. Sunday—he fled the scene before deputies arrived and now faces multiple felony charges including terroristic threats, false imprisonment, and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime.
