  • Golden Harvest Food Bank will nearly triple its summer efforts to feed 13 CSRA counties, saying its plan will bring more food to local families in need.  WRDW

  • Augusta authorities arrested 26-year-old Robert Woods on May 28 on aggravated child molestation and aggravated sodomy charges after deputies responded to a sexual assault call on the 3300 block of Deans Bridge Road—he is accused of assaulting a relative.  WRDW
  • The Richmond County Sheriff’s Office reported that 77-year-old Betty Garnett was last seen at about 1 p.m. on May 26 on the 1800 block of Belmont Avenue in Augusta wearing black sweatpants, a red and blue Adidas T-shirt and brown slides - she uses a walker and anyone with information is asked to call 706-821-1020 or 706-821-1080.  NewsChannel 6
