- ➤ The VA of Augusta held a hiring fair Saturday to recruit health care workers and medical students at its central campus. Leaders said staffing has improved as the vacancy rate fell to 12% while the facility works to enhance veteran care. WRDW

- ➤ Doctors Hospital held a topping off ceremony Friday afternoon off Wheeler Road as staff placed the final beam for two new floors planned for its south tower.
