- ➤ MEGAH SoftWash is donating a complimentary cleaning (as part of its MEGAH on Mission initiative) to help the Augusta Boxing Club cope with budget cuts affecting its funding. The donation lets the club redirect funds toward youth programs and athlete support. Augusta CEO

- ➤ Governor Kemp signed eight education bills Tuesday, including the Early Literacy Act of 2026, which will add $70 million for literacy coaches in over 1,300 schools and begin student reading tests this summer while a separate bill will ban high school cellphones in the 2027-28 school year.
