  • A shooting at an unpermitted pre-Cinco de Mayo event near Reserve and Ride Water Sports at 105 Riverfront Drive left one person dead and two injured Sunday night—local authorities are investigating and urging anyone with information to come forward.  The Augusta Press
  • Richmond County deputies are searching for Kieshea Pittman, 43, who was last seen at 8 a.m. Saturday leaving the 2300 block of Salem West Drive — she is 5 feet 5 inches tall, weighs 180 pounds, and has black hair and brown eyes.  WRDW

GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • Travelers at Augusta Regional Airport must show a Real ID-compliant driver’s license or another acceptable form of identification starting this week as the May 7 deadline nears for domestic flights and federal visits. Passengers without updated ID may use a passport—those needing a new document should schedule an appointment with their local driver’s agency as soon as possible.  WRDW
