- ➤ The Augusta Players present 'Once Upon a Mattress' as a bittersweet tribute to late executive director Scott Seidl this Mother's Day weekend. - ➤ U.S. News & World Report ranked nursing schools in a recent review, with Emory University leading the nation while Augusta University, a local institution, earned recognition as Georgia’s runner up by scoring 79 for its MSN and 94 for its DNP programs. The Augusta Chronicle

- ➤ Augusta University’s BS/MD program lets students bypass the usual premed process by moving directly from undergraduate studies to the Medical College of Georgia, saving time & money while still allowing extra experiences like travel or dual degrees. - ➤ Wellstar Augusta, Golden Harvest Food Bank, and Augusta Locally Grown launched a mobile market yesterday at the Hub for Community Innovation on Chaffee Street near Augusta University.
