- ➤ A 32 year old woman was arrested for first degree cruelty to children after she allegedly burned her child with a lit cigarette as punishment at Richmond Hill Elementary School—authorities said a teacher found a circular burn on the child's temple after he said his back hurt. WRDW

- ➤ At the Masters Tournament, Augusta National has kept many hidden traditions alive. The review shows how past champions fished at DeSoto Springs Pond (a practice that lasted over 30 years), wine bottles were taken home after the Champions Dinner, a champion was buried in his green jacket, a special trophy was awarded in 1955, and a low amateur hosted a Friday Sing. - ➤ Augusta National announced Monday morning that ticket gates opened at 8 a.m. for Monday’s Masters practice round and parking lots opened as officials monitored the weather (rain was expected until 8 p.m. with possible thunderstorms until 1 p.m.). - ➤ Tiger Woods is partnering with Augusta National to design a nine-hole short course at The Patch at Augusta Municipal Golf Course, which is set to open in April 2026—this project aims to provide affordable golf and create local job opportunities.
