- ➤ The 49th Irish American Heritage Society’s St. Patrick’s Day parade will start at 2 p.m. Tuesday on a revised route because of downtown construction. The event begins at the James Brown Arena Parking Lot & follows routes that keep local businesses accessible and spectators safe. Augusta Good News
- ➤ Salvation Army of Augusta hosted an Easter-themed event Sunday afternoon at Posh Tots Children’s Boutique to support its campaign for a new Center of Hope that will be built on Hale Street. The shelter, nearly 90% funded, will replace the current location on Greene Street & serve vulnerable families. WRDW
- ➤ The reopening ceremony for Augusta Municipal Golf Course (The Patch) has been moved from Monday to Thursday at noon due to forecasted storms. The course will open on April 15 after nearly a year of renovations that include a Tiger Woods-designed nine-hole short course. WRDW
