- ➤ Eleven justice-involved students earned high school diplomas or GEDs Thursday through the Thrive program in Augusta, a juvenile court initiative that began with 16 participants and saw five drop out. Families celebrated as emotions ran high and a former graduate later joined the military. WRDW
- ➤ The Savannah River Regional Science Bowl on Feb. 21 at the University of South Carolina Aiken gathered 16 teams from SC and Augusta for quick STEM challenges.
