- ➤ An Upwork survey in November 2025 found that 65% of local business leaders spent about 27% of their work time on non-core tasks, losing roughly 71 workdays a year that could have been delegated to others. Augusta CEO
- ➤ Cardinal Health said it will close its Augusta plant on Marvin Griffin Parkway later this summer and plans to provide severance (including benefits and a job fair) for the hundreds of employees. WRDW

- ➤ Georgia lawmakers passed House Bill 1402 today to require annual vision and hearing screenings for pre-kindergarten through third grade and provide $15,000 to each school system for equipment. The bipartisan law will help catch issues early & boost reading skills. Augusta CEO

- ➤ Augusta’s congressman said the community could receive a timeline for the future of Eisenhower Army Medical Center at Fort Gordon within 90 days, with officials expected to detail plans soon. WRDW
- ➤ Augusta Utilities said its drinking water meets all state and federal standards despite recent media coverage of PFAS compounds sometimes called forever chemicals.
