- ➤ Community leaders, project partners & residents gathered on Tuesday, Feb. 10 at 9:00 a.m. for the groundbreaking of the Allen Homes Community Garden, launching the Choice Neighborhoods Initiative led by the city and local housing authority. - ➤ Golden Harvest Food Bank in Augusta received over 550,000 pounds of food donated by Dollar General to help provide nutritious meals to local families. The contribution is part of a broader 1.6-million-pound pledge aimed at boosting food access in rural areas. WRDW

- ➤ Collin Gibson, a 17-year-old from the Augusta area, is recovering after receiving a rare heart+liver transplant at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Arthur M. Blank Hospital this January.
