- ➤ Augusta officials announced that inside lanes on Broad Street between 5th and 6th streets will close on Monday for construction work — drivers should allow extra travel time as outside lanes and local access remain available. Jon Ossoff has sent 10 questions to James Doelling (acting executive director) about staffing shortages and leadership issues at the Charlie Norwood VA Medical Center after reports of delayed veteran care.
